Introduction
Thank you for participating in this valuable tool for our church. The tabulated results of this
survey will help Trinity's Leadership in our strategic planning process by identifying Trinity's strengths, as well as opportunities
for improvement. This survey was developed by TAG, a research and consulting firm located near Washington, D.C.
Each member of a household (15 years and older) who considers Trinity their "home" should respond to the survey.
If you do not have access to a computer, stop by the church office and you may take the survey on a Trinity computer Sunday mornings or on weekdays during office hours.
If you are unable to take the survey on line, hard copies are available in the church office or on the patio on
Sunday mornings.
Taking the Survey
Do not labor over your decision – your first instinct is usually right. The survey will take you about 20-30 minutes to complete. You will need to complete the survey in one sitting. Your responses will be completely
confidential. If you are ready to begin, then follow these basic steps:
Log on to the website at: http://tcindex.tagsurvey.org.
Enter Trinity's Church ID as follows: tupc0110
Please pay careful attention to type this log on exactly as it appears. You won’t be allowed to log on if you
have misspelled the log on or if you have used the wrong case.
Enter Trinity's church’s Password: santaana
This password is the same for everyone at Trinity. Once the survey period has been completed, the
password will be changed and you will not be able to log on.
Answer each question according to the instructions.
When you have finished each set of questions, click “Next” at the bottom of the page.
You may use the “Previous” and “Next” buttons to navigate pages and
change your answers at any point while you are logged on. When you click “Finish” on the last page, your
answers will be saved and you cannot change them.
Each member of a family over the age of 15 should participate individually.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I can’t get to the website.
A: If you have trouble with this, make sure that you have not typed in “www”.
Q: I can’t log on.
A: Make sure that you have typed the log on ID and password exactly as it appears. Otherwise, you may experience
a routine maintenance where the system is down for an hour or two. Try again later.
Q: I can’t get past page one – it keeps taking me back to the beginning.
A: This is a problem with the way that your computer’s security features / network firewalls are configured.
TAG cannot help you with this. The problem is with your computer or network, not with the survey.
Q: What should I do if I don’t know the answer to a question or don't have an opinion?
A: Just leave that question blank. It will not skew the results. The composite score for each question is
calculated by the number of participants who answer any given question, not by how many participants
take the survey.
