Read
Hebrews 10:24-25
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Reflect
- What does Paul consider important in addition to “good works”?
- Why is it important for believers to meet together and build each other up in encouragement, do we always do this?
Apply
Community is both a blessing and often a struggle. The beauty of the church is that we have a vast diversity of privilege, walks of life and opinions. Call someone you know but may not have spoken to in a while, ask them how they are doing and how you can pray for them.
Pray
God, give us empathy and sympathy for those who are different from us, thank you that we can come together as a church, unique individuals made in your image together. Let us stir up one another in love and good works, and when we meet let us be united in our love for you. Amen
