Finance Update

ministry operating results

March 2025

Our tithes and offerings got off to a bit of a slow start in January. We are catching up but are still 9% below our planned offerings so far this year. The good news is that our ministry areas have spent less than expected during the same time, so our planned deficit through the end of March is about where expected. Here is a summary so far this year . . .

(000’s)
Actual
Plan
Tithes & Other Income
$1,238
$1,322
Ministry Expenses
$1,687
$1,723
Surplus (Deficit)

special gifts

Trinity periodically receives special gifts throughout the year from estates and other areas. Such gifts are often dedicated to specific areas and are not part of our regular ministry budget. Here are three recent amazing gifts! Praise God for his blessings on Trinity.

If you’re interested in speaking with someone about gifts of this nature, email Elizabeth White, Director of Business & Operations, or call (714.505.6254 x107).

1

An estate gift of over $200,000.

2

From an estate dedicated to the work of our T3 Team – capital spending for various technology projects around campus.

3

A recurring memorial gift dedicated to the fast-growing area of our middle and high school programs.

Easter offering

Trinity has five special offerings throughout the year. The Easter offering is possibly the most meaningful of those offerings, coming at a time we celebrate our Lord and Savior’s death and resurrection to save us. The proceeds of the offering are used in Trinity’s continuing ministry to our congregation, our communities, and partners in ministry around the world. So far, our Easter Offering has received $38,135. Thanks be to God!
